Antardasha – In each Maha Dasha, every planet has its own sub period, which is known as antardasha period and the lord is known as antardasha lord.
ASHTAKVARGA
This is a simple method to see if a particular house is strong or not.
Though not a very reliable and standard method but it gives some basic idea and it is an attempt to convert some astrological principles into figures.
We have seen that a person even with 34 points to 7th house have seen two failed marriages. So even you have strong points as per ashtakvarga, you should always go through the principles of astrology including 7th house, 7th lord, lagnesh, saptmesh, moon and jupiter.
Bhagyesh – Lord of 9th house is known as Bhagyesh
Bhava (House) Analysis: It includes the analysis of the following: 1. Bhava (House) 2. Bhava Karaka 3. lord of the house 4. Dispositor of Bhava lord 5. Nakshatra of the house lord 6. Planets placed in house or aspecting house 7. Navamsha house.

Chogadiya
Combust – When a planet comes too close to Sun it gets combust. After combust, planet looses its lot of strength. If it is close to 1 degree then it is known as Deep combust.
D 60 divisional chart: It is regarded as one of the most valuable chart in the horoscope. It truly reflects a human being.
The method of preparations of this chart is similar to how we prepare D9 or D7. In case the exact time of the person is not sure, then the astrologer should not opt for D60 chart. In D60 chart, the lagna changes every two minutes, so if you are not aware of specific time, avoid D60.
Astrologers (learned) often refers to D60 charts, and most of them also give huge priority to D60 chart.
The analysis of this chart is done in the same say, as we refer to Main lagna chart. however we use different dasha system to predict from D60.
Dasha System
Hindu Astrology has several methods and ways to predict events. The details given on this site is based on the Vimshottri Dasha system. It is also known as Nakshatra Dasha or Udu Dasha.The various other Dasha Sysytem includes Kalachakra Dasha, Yogini Dasha, Ashtottari dasha etc.
Ancient Saravali promoted Mool Dasha system while Parashar Rishi promoted kalachakra and Vimshottri dasha system
Divisional charts: We often hear in astrology Divisional charts. Like D9 chart. D9 charts is the most famous of the divisional chart. D9 is also known as Navamsha. Similarly D10 chart, also known as Dashamsha is for SUCCESS , D7 chart known as Saptamsha is for Children , D 24 is for knowledge , etc
Kaarak: Every house by its default is ruled by one or more than one particular planet. This is irrespective of the sign of the house.
Kaarak Nashyaanti Bhav : When the karaka of the house is placed in the house, it destroys the benefits of the house.
Kendra – 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses are known as Kendras
KP Astrology – KP stands for Krishnamurthi Paditi. Paditi Means system. In KP Astrology, while predictive analysis, importance is given to Nakshatra Lord and its sub lord. Houses plays significant role in deciding the event. This is also known as Nadi Astrology.
Lagnesh – Lord of first house i.e. Lagna
Maha Dasha : Planet which is having the most important influence on the native at a given period on a oong term basis and is based on the method (for example vimshhotri dasha) is Maha Dasha lord.

What is Panchaka Rahita Muhurat?
Panchaka
Rahita Muhurat is popular in Telugu speaking people in Andhra Pradesh
and Telangana. Panchaka Rahita Muhurtha is used to avoid inauspicious
timings. Panchaka Rahita considers Tithi (Lunar day), Vara (weekday),
Nakshatra and Udaya Lagna
to divide the whole day including night into auspicious and
inauspicious time windows. It is believed that all auspicious activities
including Marriage, Griha Pravesham and Akshara Abhyasam should be
performed during Panchaka Rahitam Muhurtham.
Retrograde: In Hindi it means Vakri. It literally means moving backward. When a planet moves backsward it is known as retrograde. In actual it is not moving but based on relativity and principles of astrology it is calculated if the planet is retrograde or not.
SHADBAL
There are various method to measure the strength of the planets. It measures the strength and not the benefic/malefic influence as such.
TITHI
The motion of moon wrt sun is the basis of the tithi. When moon travels 12 degrees, tithi changes. In Hindu calendar, a tithi is taken as the tithi which is there at the time of sunrise.
Triokones – 1st house, 5th house and 9th house are known as trikones . Most auspicious houses
Vargottam: When planet is in the same sign in Lagna horoscope and in Navamsha kundali, it is said to be vargottam. Sometimes the same planet is placed in same house in lagna horoscope and in navamsha kundali, then it is known as Bhava Vargottam.
Yogkaraka – Planet who is the lord of both Kendra and Trikone are known as Yogkaraka planet. In an horoscope lagnesh, yogkaraka and bhagyesh are the most favouring planets.
